It's the perfect place to kick back and relax. At the same time, it’s perfectly situated between Stowe Mountain Resort (just under 10 minutes) and Stowe Village (5 minutes). There are also many restaurants, the Stowe Country Club & Golf Course, the award-winning Spa at Stoweflake, access to Stowe's beautiful 5.3 mile Recreation Path, and Stowe Farmer’s Market, all less than ONE mile away (and many, many more just beyond that). The legendary Alchemist Brewery is just 1/4 mile away! And no need to pack up the bikes and drive to the rec path – it is accessible from quiet roads right from the home. Walk, bike or cross-country ski the rec path right into Stowe Village or along the river to the cow and horse pastures. The annual Stoweflake Balloon Festival takes place right next door (see picture) with 4 Balloon launches throughout the weekend (Fri-Sun). Take a walk over and enjoy the festivities or take it all in from the yard or deck. For those looking for overflow space, check out our friends at the Timberholm Inn, which is located right next door.
