Historic Benicia,located on the Carquinez Straits and once the state capital, is centrally located close to Napa (22 miles), San Francisco (35 miles), Berkeley (20 miles), Sonoma (33 miles) and 6 Flags/Marine World Park (7 miles). Public Transit is a short distance away, as is Ferry service right to the sights in San Francisco. A charming traffic-free family-friendly town, Benicia boasts a thriving downtown shopping district (all locally owned!) with a stunning waterfront section and park, a thriving arts community, award-winning restaurants and easy direct access to the bay for boats/canoes/kite surfers as well as your choice of beaches and our many parks. Also Benicia is part of the Bay Area Bike Path system, and hiking is available all through the town and region. The main bathroom has a bath and shower.and the kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave and gas stove. There is a washer and dryer in the garage as well as an extra refrigerator. The deck overlooks the Carquinez Strait.
