We are Jonathan and Gail Steidl, the owners of Lakeside Escape. We have found the perfect vacation home and would like to share it with you! The space Our home is your home! Located in Wautoma, WI on Irogami Lake in beautiful Waushara County, WI, our 2900 sq. ft. vacation home has all that you need to have the best get-a-way possible. Exquisitely decorated and complete with 5 bedrooms, 3 baths, a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, 3 TV's, super-fast Wifi, including a 65- inch screen in the living room and a spacious lake front recreation playground, you will find it hard to leave! Oh, did we mention it sleeps 18 comfortably? In the spacious living room, with a dazzling view of Irogami Lake, you will also enjoy a large wood-burning fireplace. Our large game room, which also overlooks the lake, includes a 65-inch flat TV, DVD, foosball table, darts and game table, also included in lake volleyball net, 100's of DVD's and so much more! But why stay indoors when the outdoor seating is a panoramic premium for your entire party. Overlooking the lake is a fire pit for those late-night bonfires with plenty of wood available. This stunning home also comes with a gas grill, private pier, water volleyball, canoe, two kayaks, paddle boat. Irogami Lake is a 290-acre sand bottom, fishing swimming and boating lake. You will not find a better vacation home to relax, refresh and enjoy. Perfect for family gatherings, reunions, group getaways, business and spiritual retreats. Attention golfers! There are two large golf courses just a few miles from the lodge: Waushara Country Club, a lovely 27-hole course open to the public and Two Oaks North, a novice friendly 18-hole golf course. There are also many more courses located within 30 minutes of Wautoma, including Lawsonia in Green Lake, WI. voted " One of the top 100 Classic Golf Courses in the U.S", ranked #60 by Golf week in 2017, Lawsonia has been one of Wisconsin's very gest golf destinations for generations. We also offer a Winter Wonderland! Just five miles away from the lodge is Nordic Mountain Ski and Tubing Hill. This resort offers runs for the whole family, a very fun and exciting tubing park, restaurant and a wonderful family atmosphere. Off season, mountain bike trails take you thru a gorgeous area of our state. Other skiing attractions include Granite Peak and Cascade Mountain, both approximately 1- hr. away. Waushara County has wonderful snowmobile trails throughout the county and with over 96 lakes, ice fishing is at a premium. Local marinas can outfit you with bait and tackle. We do invite your dog on our property, but we do charge a nonrefundable fee of 125 dollars. At the time of booking your reservation, please inform us if you plan on bringing your pet on your vacation and we will make an adjustment to your reservation. Damage resulting from failure to report a maintenance problem will be your responsibility. (c) While we expect to have a professional cleaning service, we ask you to make every effort to leave the property in good order. We expect the dishes to be washed and put away, the trash to be taken out and all of the outdoor toys to be put back where you found them. Please remember the property is the owner’s personal vacation home and we expect our guests to treat the property as you would want us to treat your home. (d) Please be certain to read and comply with all provisions of your vacation arrival and departure instructions, which will be helpful and which will make your stay more pleasant. Please familiarize yourselves with it as soon as you arrive. (e) This is a non-smoking rental, smoking is allowed only outdoors. ENTRY BY LANDLORD: Owner may enter the premises with or without guests consent, at reasonable times upon reasonable notice, to inspect the home, make repairs, and/or to comply with applicable laws or regulations; Owner may enter without advance notice if a health or safety emergency exists, or if guest is absent and owner believes entry is necessary to protect the home. LAKE ASSOCIATION COVENANTS: Guests agree to honor all Lake Association Rules. These rules will be given to them upon arrival. LIABILITY: Water sports and outdoor recreation are inherently dangerous. Your vacation rental is a private home and not a public resort. We do not have lifeguards on duty and/or park rangers to watch out for your safety. Accordingly, you are entirely responsible for the safety of yourself and your guests for the security of your stay. We cannot and do not assume liability for injury, theft, loss, or damage arising from your stay. HOLD HARMLESS: Owner attempts to maintain the property in the best of condition. Owner expresses no guarantees, express or implied, regarding suitability or fitness for any particular purpose. Owner does guarantee that appropriate repair and/or replacement will be performed as soon as possible under prevailing circumstances. It is Guest’s responsibility to immediately notify Owner’s agent of any issues that they incur during their stay so that the repair and/or replacement may be promptly taken care of. Owner is not responsible for any inconveniences over which Owner has no immediate control. These inconveniences may include, but are not limited to, the following: (i) breakdown of TVs, hot tubs, saunas, and/or other recreational appliances or devices; (ii) power outages; (iii) adverse weather and/or road conditions; (iv) construction in the area; (v) facilities that are not decorated and/or accommodated to Guest’s individual tastes. Owner and Owner’s agent shall not be held liable, or otherwise take any responsibility, for any injuries that may occur to Guest and/or Guest’s invitee, that is caused or permitted to be caused, in whole or in part, by the intentional, unintentional, negligent, or careless acts of said Guests, and/or invitees. By the written or electronic endorsement of this Agreement, Guest agrees to forever hold harmless and indemnify Owner and Owner’s agent from any liability and/or responsibility arising therefrom. ENTIRE AGREEMENT: THIS AGREEMENT, COMBINED WITH ANY AND ALL COMMUNITY RULES AND REGULATIONS (IF APPLICABLE) SERVES AS THE ENTIRE AGREEMENT. NO ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS ARE EXPRESSED NOR IMPLIED.
