On the large south-facing terrace, which is on the same level as the kitchen and living room, you can enjoy the sunshine and magnificent views. It is furnished with garden furniture and sun loungers. The space Ash and hazel trees provide delicious shade. Thanks to the barbecue built into the wall of the terrace, you can enjoy a nice barbecue. Wood is provided. This chalet is in a wonderful location on the south-facing slope of a hill at an altitude of 710 metres in the heart of the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Nature Park. It offers a beautiful view of the wild and romantic Glueyre valley, whose picturesque granite rock formations have been sculpted by nature. The house is reached via a cobbled road (beware: dead end). Far from the noise of traffic and surrounded by nature, you can enjoy absolute peace and quiet here. The only other inhabitants of the hamlet are the owners. They live in the other wing of the semi-detached stone house dating back to 1342, which they have lovingly restored, combining modern facilities with traditional Ardèche farmhouse features. The part presented here has a separate entrance, offers 95 m² of space and can accommodate up to seven people. It has three bedrooms. The bedrooms on the first floor each have a double bed (140 x 200 cm). The second bed is a bunk bed suitable for children aged six and over. This room has a shower room with WC. The bedroom on the third floor has two single beds (80 x 200 cm and 90 x 200 cm) that can be pushed together if required. The third bedroom with a double bed (140 x 200 cm) is also located on this level. The living room is furnished with a reading area, sofa bed, armchair and dining table. The whole area around the house is easily accessible, so you can go for long walks or mountain bike rides. You can swim in the nearby River Glueyre or in a supervised swimming area near Saint Sauveur de Montagut. The Musée de la Laine at Ardelaine is also well worth a visit.
