Description
Welcome to Wren Farmhouse! Our rustic Queenslander sits amongst 32 acres of lightly wooded native bushland. Nestled in wine country, you'll find many cellar doors within a few kilometers drive. Located nearby is Sundown National Park with Girraween National Park only 20 minutes away. The enclosed verandah becomes the perfect suntrap during the day to enjoy a good book. Enjoy the stars on a clear night or allow yourself to unwind whilst watching the fire. The space The farmhouse sits on 32 acres and this slice used to be part of the historic Ballandean sheep station that still exists today. This means we are surrounded by some 12,000 acres of sheep pasture land. If you are looking for a bit of space away from everyone else to breathe...we have a bit to share! For more photos, visit our insta page #wrenfarmhouse. Firewood is provided. Guest access There's a small dam that can be accessed though the fenced front paddock. Other things to note We have provided 1200 thread count cotton and polyester sheets, electric blankets and mattress toppers to the two queen beds. An electric blanket is provided for the single bed. We recommend bringing warm clothes and slippers as the region is known for falling below zero in winter! Free firewood is supplied to keep the fire going during your stay.
