Panguitch is a small, quiet town of 1,500 residents, set in a valley between two plateaus and surrounded by some of the most unique, majestic scenery on earth. “Panguitch” is a Paiute (Indigenous American) word meaning “Big Fish.” The town of Panguitch and the Southern Utah region are situated on traditional Southern Paiute land. The Parklands House is set at the South end of town, surrounded by small farms, ranches, and millions of acres of National Forest and BLM land. You're likely to watch the deer move down from the mountains at dusk, see the stars at night, and feel your blood pressure drop from the abundance of peace and quiet. That, plus the ideal proximity to the parks and limitless outdoor adventure, make Panguitch a great choice for your stay. Plenty of parking in the large driveway and on the street.
