To see and do in Järna and the surrounding area Järna is the center of the anthroposophical movement in Sweden, which has also left its mark on many of society's buildings. There are plenty of cafes and bakeries to explore. It is only a five-minute walk from the house to the beautiful Moraån valley and close to the hiking trail along the sea. If you would like to enjoy some swimming during your stay, you can choose both lake and sea where it is 6 km to each. Within a 2 mile radius there are several golf courses to choose from. for example Kallfors and Vidbynäs as well as two each located in Trosa. A tip is to visit Tom Tits Experiment in Södertälje, which offers a variety of fun experiments for both children and adults. Not far from Järna is Sweden's capital Stockholm. The easiest way to get there is by commuter train in 50 minutes and, if traffic permits, 40 minutes by car.
