In the garden, a barbecue area awaits for wonderful outdoor evenings. Guest access Tailor's Trail in the heart of this small village is above all a place to meet in a cosy environment. We offer you both fine bedrooms and generous communal spaces in the former tailor's workshop. As soon as you enter the building, you are greeted by a first lounge located in the former shop on the street side. Next, you will find a large space consisting of a kitchen with a long table inviting you to share meals and a living room with panoramic windows that 'bring the garden inside'. All guests of our gîte also benefit from an intimate private garden that wraps around a large hundred-year-old cherry tree. At the back of the garden you will find the sauna (€20 per use) In front of the house, the courtyard, with its old cobblestones and planting, invites you for an aperitif, a cup of coffee and to smile at the life of this village. The 4 rooms: Stairway to Heaven – sleeping in a tent, but with a twist Into the wild, with a touch of magic… To reach this gîte “above,” you climb a steep staircase that takes you through a narrow gap – as if you’re slipping through one of the famous cracks of the Mullerthal rocks. Already an adventure in itself! Up there, a playful hideaway awaits you: a triangular space with sloping ceilings, feeling like a real tent under the stars. You can’t stand upright everywhere, but that’s part of the charm – this is camping in a fairytale, built with natural materials and a bohemian spirit. Close your eyes and you might just feel the vibe of Janis Joplin – free, a little wild, and full of music in the air. Are you adventurous enough to climb the Stairway to Heaven? ON DER GÄNNN ... Get disconnected . 'Op der Gäen' refers to the upstairs rooms of local barns in the countryside. The eclectic design does not refer to a traditional room: You sleep in an alcove surrounded by yellow wood shavings, which remind us of the summer naps of our childhood among the hay ... An atypical gîte to isolate yourself and recharge your batteries ... See you upstairs in the barn ! THE FAMILY Cool and the Gang – Family Room The family room Cool and the Gang with a comfortable double bed and a bunk bed is perfect for families or a group of friends looking to enjoy a relaxing stay together. The room exudes calm and serenity through the use of natural, simple materials. Its bright interior with custom-made oak furniture creates a warm, minimalist atmosphere. The private bathroom is subtly integrated into this peaceful design. With two bedrooms side by side – separated by a sliding door – you get the best of both worlds: cozy togetherness and enough privacy between the parents’ bedroom and the children’s bedroom. Family-friendly, stylish, and practical – the perfect place for quality time with your loved ones. Man’s Cave – Tiny House Welcome to our Man’s Cave, a bold hideaway with a playful twist. Through your private entrance, you step into the living space on the ground floor, with a small kitchenette – perfect for preparing something simple. Want to cook a full meal? You can use the large kitchen in the adjacent house, so you’ll have everything you need. Then there’s the unique bathroom cave. Here you’ll find a bathtub with a shower where you can sit and enjoy – a little playful, a little different, but definitely an experience you won’t forget. A beautiful antique spiral staircase takes you upstairs to the sleeping area. Intimate, cozy, and just a little rebellious. Whether you come alone, as a couple, or simply to escape the world: this is the place for a rugged night full of charm. The materials – raw concrete, solid wood, and traditional lime paint – give the space its robust character, while the careful design still radiates warmth and comfort. For extra comfort, mobile air conditioning units are available in the rooms Stairway to Heaven, Ob der Gaen, and Mans Cave. Fans are also available in all rooms. Not fully soundproof – As an authentic, historic building, natural sounds may travel between spaces. Stairs & unique layouts – Some rooms have unconventional layouts with steep stairs, adding to the adventurous character of the house. Stairs are inevitable in this house.
