Picture yourself waking up in the mornings and walking out onto a terra-cotta terrace as you sit down with your morning coffee. Imagine the perfect place for your yoga practice or meditation. A dream house, where standing in the lounge and looking out through the huge window, you have a birds-eye view over the tree tops to the rolling Guincho waves in the near distance. The house boasts a modern kitchen, comfy furniture to enjoy the western-facing view, as well as a salt-water tiled pool and plenty of chill-out spots to choose from across the multiple outdoor areas. Guest access Casa Guincho is set on a shared property, where you will enjoy your private pool and garden. The property is located in the typical small village of Charneca, only 10 minutes drive from Cascais and Estoril. The stunning Guincho beach (where you will be able to surf, windsurf, chill out at the beach bar or simply soak up the sun!) is a couple of minutes’ drive away, or 15-20 minutes’ walk from the house, through a beautiful green valley in the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. In Charneca, there is a small supermarket, a couple of local cafés, a restaurant, an equestrian centre, a tennis court, as well as a bus stop. Within a couple of minutes’ drive, you will reach the nearby villages of Aldeia de Juso and Areia. Aldeia de Juso is the place to go if you want fresh local produce, and Areia is the “surfer hub” of Cascais, being right next to the Guincho sand-dunes, with a wide variety of local cafes and lively restaurants, suited to everyone’s price range! Even though a quiet and peaceful location in which to spend relaxing holidays, the village of Charneca has a typical "local life" feel with a welcoming community and is only 2,5 km away from the A5, the motorway connection to Portugal’s bustling capital, Lisbon! A few minutes drive leads you to the ocean-facing road from Guincho to Cascais, along which you can find some of the best seafood restaurants in the region. Other things to note Bachelor/hen parties or gathering of the sorts are not suited for this property and are therefore prohibited. Failure to comply will see your booking cancelled with no refund.
