The dairy is a spacious home with 6 double or twin bedrooms (some with extra beds), large open plan kitchen/dining room and a huge comfy sitting room. The property has extensive private gardens, with lawns leading into woods at the back and a pretty sun-trap walled garden, games barn, hot tub and BBQ in front. There is also a communal natural swimming pool, sauna, treatment room and conservatory/greenhouse all on the Skirrid Mountain. The space The spacious open plan kitchen/dining room is well fitted out to cater for meals around a large dinning table (seats 12). An extra little table may be set for 4, if the house is booked to maximum capacity (16), including children. A double faced wood burning stove leads into the sitting room/TV room. With plenty of space for the whole group to join conversations around the fire, or play family games which are supplied with plenty of choice. A smart TV is set at the far end of the room for cozy films or to keep the children entertained as their parents continue a long meal next door. The house has a large enclosed walled garden formed from the previous cattle yard to the front, with outdoor seating for up to 16 people. It has the great advantage of the "Captains Cave", a covered open barn with a full sized table tennis table, exercise bike, treadmill, fridge, BBQ, fire pit and hot tub (firewood and hot tub at an additional charge). Parents can enjoy sitting outside in confidence that their children are safely enclosed. To the rear of the house is a lawned area, and access into the fields on up to the mountain top. This area is ideal for older children or adults to explore, enjoy playing and relaxing. Two of the bedrooms have little private terraces with outdoor seating, perfect for those needing a little P&Q during a family holiday! Cook with herbs from the garden (in the old pig stye off the barn), or try out some of the home grown and made meals (by pre-order), enjoy a good game of table tennis, relax on the swing or soak stress away in the hot tub. It is a steep walk through the fields to reach the top of the mountain; you could be on top of the world with views over six counties in 35 minutes. Guest access This is a private property and has secluded gardens which are not shared with the other houses on the farmstead (other than the gardening team watering very occasionally on week days, but generally on change over days). Other things to note Any guests staying over 12 people are charged an extra guest charge of £30 per guest/per night (subject to minimum night booking). Minimum 2 night stay mid week, 3 nights over a weekend, 4 nights on bank holidays and 7 nights over Christmas (regret no discount over Xmas). The Hot tub an additional charge of £100 for a weekend of £140 for a week. Dogs are £15 per dog per night.
