You will have a front row view of a working horse farm from this private guest house on the edge of Country Life Farm's Merryland Thoroughbred Nursery. "Merrywell" A 3 bedroom, stucco on stone historic house dating to the early 1900's. Although you might just want to stay in and enjoy the pastoral views of this conserved property in the Long Green Valley, it is a close drive to all the major attractions of the baltimore area, 10 miles west of Towson and just over the hill from Bordy Vineyard. The space The base price is for 4 guests, additional guests are $20 per person per night. Pet fee of $25 per pet per stay ( for each 7 days ) and must be mentioned for approval at booking See additional pet notes below Guest access Enjoy the areas around the house and drive all to yourself. Stroll the driveways and watch the horses train on the track or at play in the fields. Barn are off limits unless accompanied by a staff member. Please do not enter the fields or climb fences use caution around the horses you may encounter along your parking area in front of the house. They are fed well and we ask for your safety and theirs do not feed them treats of any kind. Other things to note A maximum occupancy of 8 does require sleeping two in king, queen and full bed and two singles. I do have additional unlisted queen guest rooms on the adjacent property if you are looking to accommodate a larger group. However this alternate lodging house is a no pets, and recommended for guests 35 or older.
