The living room has a wood burning stove - in the colder months, you will have some logs, kindling & firelighters. Heating on the 1st floor is via a gas heater. What would you like to do? We can offer you, a relaxing break? Surrounded by beautiful scenery, including lakes & mountains? You can Walk or Cycle one of the many routes in the area, or, how about taking a trek on horseback with the local stables? Sightseeing? So much history in the immediate area and much more a little further afield. Guest access You are required to complete our Registration/Booking Form in advance of your stay. On arrival we need to Register all guests (over 18s) with the Guardia Civil. Both of these are done electronically A charge is made for arrivals outside of our published Check In time. Please, if you are planning on arriving after 20:00, this needs to be agreed beforehand. Any check ins after midnight are charged at 10€ per hour/part thereof Once you have checked in you have 24 hour access to the property - with a front door key given to you on arrival. You will be met by me, Liz, your host. 50€ refundable deposit (cash) required on arrival to cover cost of replacing Keys, Damage, Breakages etc. We request that you DO NOT leave the keys in the lock whilst in the house. Should you leave the property and forget them, or we need to access the property in an emergency, it would mean breaking the lock/door, the cost of replacement will be passed on to you. Once keys handed back and house is checked, this is returned in full Other things to note Hinojares is in a valley, so there are hills to negotiate, however, nothing is too arduous. The nearest bar is a few metres away by the main parking area. Closed Monday We also have a drinks/ice cream kiosk with shaded seating, that serves beer, wine, spirits and coffees. Serafin's tapas are particularly tasty. This is a favourite of ours weekend lunchtimes :-) Closed Wednesdays. For a greater choice of bars and restaurants, it's a short drive into Pozo Alcón. On the road from Pozo Alcón to the Embalse de la Bolera, there are 3 more bars/restaurants. All offer a wide selection of drinks, don't forget the free tapas, and a good selection of hot and cold food. At the bottom of Hinojares there is a small supermarket for your essential provisions.
