Moss Mountain Cottage sits on five wooded acres where you can relax after a long day of hiking, biking, or sightseeing. We are centrally located - a short drive from Acadia National Park, the villages of Mount Desert Island, Indian Point Blagden Preserve, Kebo Valley golf course, Long Pond, Echo Lake, Pirate's Cove mini-golf, as well as several restaurants featuring fresh seafood and locally brewed beer and wine. We provide a binder with brochures to help you plan out your days on MDI. The space Moss Mountain Cottage is a clean, bright, spacious 3-bedroom/two bath cape-style home located on Mount Desert Island in the village of Town Hill - one of several small villages that make up the town of Bar Harbor. In addition to offering a great central location, the cottage offers a heated and air-conditioned home, with a bright, spacious and open living, kitchen and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, a fully-equipped and supplied laundry room, a first floor bedroom with ¾ bath (shower), two large bedrooms upstairs that share a full bath with tub/shower combination. High speed wireless internet, TV and Blueray DVD player/library, over 30 local channels, a smart TV with Netflix, Prime, Acorn and Britbox, games and books are all part of the package. Adjacent to the kitchen is a large deck featuring a gas grill and outside dining and off the deck is a garden patio with fire pit and seating for 8. A large yard where children can play and ample parking are also available. We provide two sets of keys to the side (preferred) and front entrances through a secure key box. The code for the key box as well as directions to the cottage will be sent to you along with a welcome letter shortly after booking.
