The space Welcome to our luxury vacation home on the Argeles/Saint Andre border in the lovely countryside at the Languedoc-Roussillon Pyrenees Orientales coastline. The huge entirely ground level villa was completely renovated in 2010. The inside has a natural "zen" ambiance. The inside of the Mas is 240 m2 total, boasting a large living space, fully equipped kitchen, and dining room with fireplace, and more. For warm lazy mornings, enjoy breakfast in the second dining room at the front of the house. There is a bonus tower office space with desk and surrounding windows, just secluded enough for writers or business people. Inside this luxurious holiday home you will also find 4 bedrooms (a 5th bedroom for warm weather in the poolhouse but much more rustic) including one with its own private terrace. There are also 2 fully equiped bathrooms with large walk in showers and a jacuzzi bathtub inside the main house. (other with shower/toilet in the poolhouse). This secluded paradise is available for rent for ​up to ​10 people​.​ 8 people sleep comfortably in the 4 bedrooms inside the main house and 2 more people can sleep in the 5th (very simple and rustic) bedroom in the pool house. In the main house: Bedroom 1 has a 160 cm double bed. Bedroom 2 has a 140 cm double bed that can be made into 2 singles. Bedroom 3 has a 160 cm double bed that can be made into 2 singles. Bedroom 4 has a 140 cm double bed. In the poolhouse: Bedroom 5 has a 160 cm double bed that can be made into 2 singles. All bedrooms have air conditioning and heating of course. The outside garden has been completely revitalized with adorning old trees like palm and local olive and dusted with lush plants from the Pyrenees region. The house is an ideal place for whiling away the hours with family and or friends. The 7000 m2 fully enclosed, secured and private property is completely isolated among native peach, lemon and kiwi trees as well as grape vines...and you can eat them all :) Basque in the sun at poolside, while appreciating majestic views on the Pyrenées and Canigou. Enjoy a memorable outdoor barbecue lunch everyday in your own shaded and tiled poolside lounge. Then why not a game of petanque/boules in the special court! The fantastic exterior also includes: Salt water swimming pool (12 x 6 meters and depth 1.4 - 2 meters) heated in shoulder seasons for an additional fee; a pool house with dining area, summer kitchen (barbecue, plancha and microwave), a 5th summer (rustic) bedroom, a bathroom with shower; and a covered gravel petanque/boules court. Enjoy the fantastic new roof terrace with spectacular views! What's more, there is so much for children: ping pong table, balls, toys, games, a sand box/pit, swing set and more. Adults can relax in the hammocks or on the lounge chairs! Guest access You have access to everything, the huge property, garden, pool and pool house....all private and just for you! Air conditioning in internal bedrooms. In winter it is well heated with electric heating as well as a nice fireplace! Parking inside the property is availble for many cars, including 3 cars under the covered carport. Facilities available: dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, iron/board, hair dryer, high speed ADSL WIFI internet, television, DVD player, books (Engl/Dutch/Fr), BBQ, 2 bicycles. (Pool heating on request in mid season for a fee, please ask). Bed linens and bath and pool towels are included in the rental price (exception: off season there are no pool towels provided). Other things to note This luxury villa is available for rent for up to 10 people. 8 people sleep comfortably in the 4 bedrooms in the main house. 2 more people can sleep in the 5th bedroom in the pool house. (2 double beds, 2 queen beds plus 2 singles that can be made into a large queen) Rental price includes bed linens, towels (not pool towels in low season), WIFI internet, and parking. Please inquire about housekeeping fee/deposit and damage deposit. Baby items are available upon request (such as cot, high chair, etc) Clean, well behaved pets may be considered, please ask us.
