This two bedroom, fully equipped cabin includes a private outdoor hot tub, relaxing fire pit and large covered, rocking chair front porch. Original hardwood floors throughout the cabin and relaxing sunroom looking out on private back garden. Chestnut Log Cabin is located directly on the Appalachian Trail within walking distance to town and all of the Hot Springs attractions. The master bedroom features a queen size bed, the Dancing Bear bedroom has bunk beds and the living area has a comfy futon sofa that folds down to a double bed. Guest access A special feature of this property is that is located directly on the Appalachian Trail and a short walk to town. Chestnut Log Cabin is an outdoors lovers dream! There are many other hiking trails in the surrounding areas as well as biking, kayaking, river rafting, horseback riding, zip-lining as well as Hot Springs historical tours. A short five minute walk takes you to the down town area of Hot Springs and all restaurants, pubs, festival sites, campground and Hot Springs Spa. Other things to note Hot Springs is beautifully surrounded by the Pisgah National Forest and the town of Hot Springs has Dollar General Store, Hillbilly Market, Bluff Mt Outfitters but no other commercial grocery store.
