Five Bears Cabin is in beautiful Mountain Shadows, a neighborhood style resort (not secluded), within the city limits of Gatlinburg. There are cameras at the resort entrance, adjacent cabins, and on the front porch of the cabin showing the front porch and parking in front of the cabin. The surveillance devices may capture video and audio. No cameras inside the cabin or any that intrude on private space. Cabin has parking for 2 vehicles. No campers, RVs, or trailers are permitted in the resort. Security deposit, ID verification, and signed rental agreement are all required. This is a full 3 bedroom cabin - over 2000 sqft Guests have access to Mountain Shadows Resort swimming pool (open May-Sept) within walking distance of the cabin. Our cabin has keyless entry. Once booked, we will be in touch quickly with a couple of follow-up items to complete your reservation and then again a few weeks prior to your arrival with the address, directions and cabin access (door entry code) info. Our 3 bedroom cabin is located within the Gatlinburg city limits, just 3 miles east of downtown, off U.S. 321, near the Glades Arts and Crafts Loop. Downtown Gatlinburg offers entertainment, shops, restaurants and attractions, including Ripley's Aquarium, Space Needle, Arial Tram, and Ober Gatlinburg Skiing Resort and Amusement Park. Our location is within 30 minutes of every attraction that the area offers, including Dollywood, golf courses dinner theaters, outlet malls and unique shops. Just to the east on U.S. 321 is the Greenbrier Entrance to the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, where one can enjoy horse back riding, fishing in the Little Pigeon River, hiking Mount Le Conte, nature walks, picnicking and more. Also located within one mile is Rocky Top Sports World, which is an 86,000 square foot multi sport facility. It includes 7 state of the art synthetic fields, track and field amenities, championship field and court, indoor climbing wall and indoor/outdoor dining.
