Kids ride bikes through the streets to the beach where there’s a great swim platform and a snack shack (ice cream!). You can play volleyball, fish, paddle canoes across the lake to the little islands. You can hike or mountain bike from the cabin door through the sierra meadows or up the mountains for breathtaking views. Use the kayak we have at the lake to get out on the lake and swim in the fresh mountain water. There’s movies at the beach on Saturdays with popcorn and s’mores. The best hill is at Acorn and Yuba where an entire street is unplowed. In winter please watch for falling snow. Snow falling from trees and roofs can be dangerous. Do not allow children to play near the roof line where they could be hurt by falling snow. Supervise children at all times when playing outside.
