Each bedroom is equipped with a comfy queen size bed, plenty of storage for personal belongings, bedside tables and charging stations to make your stay ultra comfortable. The Escape is nestled the Waldo neighborhood with a grocery stores and restaurants within minutes. The Escape was remodeled in October of 2023 to include a fully brand new kitchen and bathroom! Living Room: This space has vibrant yet soothing colored furniture, the couch will adequately seat 5 with two additional chairs. Enjoy a movie night in with the 55" Smart TV to stream from your favorite platform. Kitchen: Comes with all brand new major appliances including microwave as well as pots/pans and cooking utensils if you prefer to cook. Kitchen also has standard dishes, silverware and spices. A Keurig coffee maker, drip coffee maker, French press and pour over are provided for your brewing needs along with coffee grounds and a variety of creamer and sugar is provided! Dining Room: Enjoy your home cooked meal, take out or a board game at the dining table which seats up to six. Dining room has a sliding glass door that leads out to the back deck. Bedrooms: All three bedrooms have comfortable queen size beds with hotel quality linens and pillows making it hard to get out of bed! All bedrooms also include ceiling fans, bedside tables with lamps and charging stations. The master bedroom features an additional Smart TV. Bathroom: Full size bathroom which includes luxury bath products. (shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion) One large towel and one wash cloth is provided per guest as well as dark make-up towels for convenience. Today, you’ll find more than 600 businesses in Waldo, 60 percent of which are locally owned, surrounded by a family-oriented neighborhood. It’s a wonderful place to work, shop, live and play! Waldo is located about a 5 minute drive from Brookside, 8 minute drive to the Plaza, 10 minutes to Westport and 15-20 minutes to downtown KC. In addition, the property is about 15 minutes to the KC zoo and Starlight theatre and about 20 minutes to both Kauffman and Arrowhead stadiums. Quick Uber or Lyft rides to grocery stores, shops, restaurants and other local establishments. *IDENTITY VERIFICATION and PROPERTY INSURANCE REQUIREMENT: Our properties are protected by SuperHog which is a third party identity verification and insurance partner. Once you have booked, you will be contacted by SuperHog to verify yourself and purchase insurance for a one time non-refundable fee of $35.00. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in in order to receive property access instructions. * PARTIES - All gatherings must be limited to 8, this is monitored and guests violating this rule will be charged a mandatory $700 fine. NO EVENTS OR PARTIES ALLOWED. * PETS - We do allow pets with host approval. If you are planning on bringing a pet please notify us once you complete your booking. There is a $75 fee for one pet or $100 for two that is collected once the booking is confirmed and paid in full. Contact us for questions. (Guests are required to pick up after their pet host provides dog bag stations). There is a fully fenced back yard! There is a $500 fine for any unauthorized pets.
