"Ideal location near the beach, just minutes to drive or bike into historic downtown St Augustine. Bottom Unit is 1300 sq ft Coastal Farmhouse style with a open kitchen, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and large refrigerator with filtered water/ice maker, laundry room, private porch off master bedroom, fenced-in backyard, outdoor shower, and grill. House is 3 blocks from beach access/beach parking (if you choose not to walk). Rental and beach are pet friendly. Only 2 parking spots available. The vacation home is ONLY THE BOTTOM FLOOR OF THE HOUSE. Unit A is a 1300sq ft on the ground floor with no stairs. The unit and side/back yard is completely private. Kitchen is fully stocked with plates, glasses, Automatic drip coffee maker, coffee, creamer, utensils and cookware. Keurig single serving coffer maker provided, but guest will need to provide their own K-cups. A variety of board games are located in the buffet cabinet in the dining area. TV's are located in each bedroom and living room. TV in living room has full cable channels, and Samsung plus. All TV's are smart TV's. Guest able to access their own apps such as Netflix, amazon prime, sling, etc. High Speed 1 gigabit WIFI included. Unit also has a PlayStation 4 plus games. There are 2 beach chairs, and beach wagon located on the porch of the master bedroom. Beach Towels are provided and located in the bathroom. Also, a basketball (for the community basketball court 1 block away) is located on the same porch area. The second floor is NOT available, and only used by the owner/host. The Host will intermittently stay on the second floor, so please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions such as great local restaurants, activities, etc. Other than that you will have all the privacy you need. Guests have full private access to ground floor bottom unit, laundry room, back yard, outdoor shower, and all side and backyard. The small propane tank for the grill is located in the laundry room, or additional tanks can be purchased at Publix (0.5 miles away). We live and work in St. Augustine, and are immediately available whenever needed to answer questions, etc. 172 Meadow Ave. is located in a secluded neighborhood surrounded by the intercoastal and the beach. The home is minutes away from Publix (grocery), great beach restaurants, Marina, and walkways. One block from community center with playground, dog park, 2 tennis courts, basketball court, and exercise classes (yoga, jazzercize, etc.). **Pets are welcome. There is a nice dog park one block away. Beach is welcoming for pets on a leash. Neighborhood is friendly and relaxing. The beach is walking distance (3 blocks). Beach and Restaurants are also close enough you can ride your bike. You can even ride your bike to downtown St. Augustine(3.5 miles away) by crossing the Vilano Bridge. One Block a way is the North shores Community Center which hosts 2 tennis courts, basketball court, Children's playground, baseball field, dog park, and a host of exercise classes such as Yoga, Jazzercise, and Pilates. Area is very pet friendly, i.e. dog park, pets allowed on beach with leash, allowed at outdoor restaurants, etc. Our place is pet friendly, but we do ask that if your pet sheds excessively, that you bring coverings (blanket/sheet) to cover the couches. If you have pets, please DO NOT PROP THE DOOR OPEN to the unit to let them freely walk in and out. This is Florida, and we have animals i.e. mice, snakes, and other creatures who are searching for water and a cooler place to hang out other than outside. :-) Extra blanket, sheets, pillows for the pull-out couch are located in in coffee table in front of the couch. If you ever have trouble locking the front door when leaving the unit during the summer months, the door can sometimes swell due to the humidity. Just simply pull the door towards you and hold it closed while turning the lock to the right(after you have entered the door code). This rarely happens, but a few guests mention this from time to time.
