Lake Spokane Retreat House-Sleeps 18

Enjoy the beautiful view of Lake Spokane from my one acre property which has a private dock for swimming and fishing. My home has three floors equipped with 5 private queen bedrooms and two futons in the Toy Room. My place is perfect for couples, families (with kids), and big groups since I have plenty of parking. You will also see many kinds of wildlife as you relax at my lake home. This is a perfect venue for a family reunion. I can accommodate 8-18 guests. The space My entire kitchen with all appliances and cookware are at your disposal. It is set-up for family reunions and has a large dining room table and outdoor deck with table and chairs and a gas BBQ. A kitchen table with seating nook accommodates 6 people as well as 3 bar chairs for conversations while preparing your meals. Free WiFi and a desk top computer with printer is available for your use in the master bedroom. HD DirectTV is available in the master bedroom and also on the main floor in the Family Room. Both large HD TVs have DVD players and plenty of movies to watch. An X Box 360 with games are also at your disposal on the main floor. The large master bedroom and en suite overlook the lake on the second floor. Another bedroom is also upstairs with a bathroom right across the hall. There is one bedroom, "The Sportsman's Cabin", on the main floor, for those who do not want to do stairs. A full bath is situated around the corner as well as an available laundry room. The other 2 private bedrooms are in the daylight basement. "Child's Paradise", the Toy Room in the basement, is equipped with lots of toys and dress up clothes for babies and children of all ages. There are two futons in this room and sleeping pads for extra little ones. A VHS player with loads of Disney tapes are ready for the kiddos. If you have a small baby, I have a portable crib, high chair seat, walker, and a booster seat. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire house on my one acre property. I also have a golf cart, kayak, bikes, and lots of baby and child toys. Life jackets for all ages are stored in the garage, and I have a private dock on the lake. Loungers, table, chairs and umbrella are on the dock where guests can swim, dive, boat, or fish. ALL ABOUT THE DOCK My house sits on one acre and the property goes down to the lake with 47 foot of frontage with a dock. There is a ”Private Road” leading down the hill so renters may easily drive their car or use my golf cart or walk the ¼ of a mile to the lake. Directions to the private dock: Come out of the front of the house and go right on the road. You will pass the gray house next door and one more house with a separate garage. Turn right down the dirt road that has a sign saying: “Private Road”. Watch out for ruts in the road because of the Spring runoff. When you come to the fork in the road, make a HARD right and go down the hill. You will see an A framed house on the left, and make another sharp right to the 4th dock. There is a tree stump with a boat chain and a sign that says, “Welcome Friends”. I also have a Porta Potty for the guests use. There is wooden furniture and an umbrella with a table with loungers and chairs. There is great fishing from my dock because my late husband put in a “brush pile” off the end of the dock on the right hand side. We have deep water for diving and swimming off the dock but make certain that everyone does not dive on the right side where the brush pile exists. We have caught many Bass and Perch from the dock. I have lots of fishing equipment in the garage for everyone to use. Kids under 16 can fish for free. Adults will need to buy a fishing license. The best bait is night crawlers that can be purchased at Rosauers in Suncrest. You will hear no traffic noise and enjoy the peaceful and quiet lake setting.
