Shawagunk Cabin- Spectacular Log Home Retreat!

Pros: Privacy, huge bedroom w/king bed, living room with fireplace, private bathroom and a TV room for your use only (Hosts stay in the basement suite - you have the top two floors) Cons: Creaky floors in your bedroom (but safe), we have a cat, but never allow her in the bedroom. Enjoy our beautiful log cabin nestled in 2.5 acres on the side of the southern Shawagunk Ridge, in Bloomingburg, NY. Close to great hiking at Sam's Point, Minnewaska State Park, Mohonk preserve and Bethel Woods! The space Notes: Automated TV room with cable tv, HBO, Showtime, Amazon Prime, Netflix and more (Harmony remote makes it all easy to operate). Fireplace with lots of firewood (we light fires for you in the evening and in the morning). Sonos stereo in the living room with vintage audio power and Celestion speakers for your use only (you download the free Sonos app and enjoy all your streaming music over our fantastic system). Charcoal provided for your own barbequing (and free lessons and guidance while you cook if needed). During your stay We will be staying in our basement suite on site, available to help with anything. We will share access to the kitchen, the living room, the dining room, the decks and porches, but we respect your privacy, if you would like to be left alone, we have our own entrance and can enter and leave without walking into the living room or kitchen. If you want company, you will find us extremely hospitable, eager to share our knowledge about the area. Other things to note We have a new, young calico cat, who is very calm around dogs so far. We are both sensitive to cat dander, so we don't allow Pipsqueak to ever enter the bedrooms, and while you stay with us, she will be in the basement.
