Downtown Historic Leesburg/Large Basement Suite

Northern VA, convenient to DC! This clean, comfy partly finished basement suite w/private entrance is located in a single-family home on a quiet cul-de-sac. Features one bedroom with/full sized bed; a small living area w/futon, coffee table; & a spa-like modern bathroom with large shower. History buffs will enjoy being within walking distance of downtown Leesburg & W&OD Trail and minutes from local historic sites such as the Balls Bluff Civil Battlefield. 20 Minutes from IAD. The space A spacious, clean and comfortable space for folks who like a private space and who may be visiting Loudoun County or the Northern VA area. Close to Leesburg's Historic Downtown and some terrific restaurants! A terrific value if you are attending a wedding close to the downtown. I provide Complimentary Coffee/Tea, Bottled Water and Assorted Snack/Breakfast Bars in the small kitchenette area. Amenities: Refrigerator/Microwave and a Table Tennis (Ping Pong) Table set up by request/stay. This space is entirely separate from the upstairs dwelling with a separate private entrance (keyed) to come and go as you desire. The bathroom is fully finished and spa-like. I take pride in offering a great value for a very clean and comfortable space, close to downtown. The remainder of the basement suite unfinished, but furnished, carpeted and cozy as shown in the pictures. Note, in the unfinished space, ceiling rafters are visible. Looking up you will see some ductwork, and the wiring that runs to the light fixtures. The two basement windows, in the large open area with ping pong table, provide the only natural light for the space. Folks who are looking for a completely finished space, or who are uncomfortable in a basement should NOT book with me. Guest access Guests have access to the basement suite area and private bathroom through the backyard. Motion lights are set to come on to light your way through the yard, to the suite, when it's dark. The double bed is a firm sleep number mattress, which, of course, you can adjust to your own comfort. I have an additional single sized bed that can be set up in the open area for one additional person. Please request this to be made up if you have a third person. WiFi is NO longer available. A new microwave and small refrigerator were recently added to the list of amenities as well as a Table Tennis Table. I like to meet my guests and personally hand them the key. However, guests who are arriving late can be given a code to the lock box to access the key for ease of coming and going. Unless otherwise requested, upon exiting, the key to the suite can be left on the table in the breakfast nook. Other things to note We have a friendly big dog who spends his days in the backyard whether there's sunshine or snow. He prefers to be top dog so we don't allow other pets.
