This 100-year-old home features sunlit rooms, beautiful hand-carved cabinets and bookshelves, hardwood floors, viga ceilings, a kiva fireplace, colorful art and antiques and an inviting, enclosed garden. Enjoy morning espresso on the front portal and evening cocktails around the outdoor dining table. Explore the abundant art and culture of Santa Fe or hit the nearby hiking and biking trails and ski slopes, then relax with a good book or board game from the plentiful selection. Gather for meals with family and friends at the large dining room tables indoors and out. Well-stocked with everything you need for the perfect Santa Fe getaway. LIVING AREA Centered around the traditional kiva fireplace, the living room offers a cozy spot for reading, conversation, playing games or watching television. The queen sleeper sofa offers flexible sleeping arrangements. KITCHEN AND DINING Well-stocked with dishes, glassware, utensils, cookware and serving trays, the fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need to prepare meals and dine at home. Start your day with a latte from the Nespresso machine and pastries from nearby Mille or Sage, two popular neighborhood bakeries. Stock the full-size refrigerator with supplies from Whole Foods or Market Street, each a five-minute drive away. The large table in the adjacent, sun-filled dining room offers ample seating for family and friends. In warmer months, dine at the outdoor dining table while enjoying the peaceful garden. BED AND BATH The primary bedroom has a king bed plus two nightstands, a dresser and armoire for storage. It shares a Jack and Jill style bathroom with a second bedroom offering two twin beds and a small dresser. The third bedroom features a queen bed, two nightstands, a large armoire and closet for additional storage. The second bathroom, adjacent to the living area, offers a bathtub as well as a shower. OUTDOOR SPACE Luna’s spacious, enclosed garden offers year-round appeal and is in bloom from spring through fall. The front portal provides a quiet, shaded spot for conversation or afternoon reading. The back yard features a gas grill and a large table with seating for six. LOCATION .6 miles to the Plaza 1.1 miles to Canyon Road .3 miles to the Railyard PLEASE NOTE: - This home is cooled by an evaporative cooler rather than traditional A/C, which is standard and effective in New Mexico's dry climate. Evaporative coolers are only available from May 15th - October 1st. - This home is dog-friendly (for stays shorter than 14 nights) with an additional $200 fee, however dogs are not allowed on the furniture. Any pet hair found on the furniture may result in additional cleaning fees. A maximum of two dogs are allowed at this home. - The fireplace is available from October 15th - April 15th - The outside of this home is monitored by security cameras. - On-street parking requires a permit (two visitor permits are provided at the house for use during your stay).
