Pioneer Phone Home

The pioneer phone home is 150+ year old home that we’ve added modern touches to. The home still has some little quirks that remind you you’re staying in a home that was built many years ago. Some of the quirks include a wavy floor in the kitchen and crooked stairs leading to the upstairs bedrooms. We love the quirks that give this home character but it definitely isn’t renovated to be a fancy hotel. What you will get is a comfy home away from home with everything you need. The space Some fun history of our home was that it was the first home with a public telephone for the entire small town of Lyman, Utah. The downstairs bedrooms each have a queen size bed and the 2 upstairs rooms each have 2 twin beds In them. The master has a tub/shower and the hall bathroom has a small shower in it as well. The home currently sits on an acre of land that has not been finished so at times there may be weeds in the field surrounding the home. There is not central air in the home but most months it is a comfy temperature and ac is not needed. However, We do have a standing ac to use if needed. There is a grocery store 5 minutes away and capital reef is about a 15 min drive from the home. It’s a great location that is close to amenities and capital reef. Other things to note Although this is a small town, the home does sit on the main road in town so you may hear traffic passing by and occasionally some cows nearby.
