"KILALA" OUR RESIDENT KOALA The lush tropical bush around the house is home to our resident koala "Kilala", the name our 3yo calls the koala. Hopefully Kilala shows his face when you are there A separate 10x10 rainforest jungle patch is located in the corner of the property and is great for kids to roam around and explore the bush within the safe settings of the property boundary. THE AREA Kilala is 1km from lighthouse beach (approx. 2 min drive), a perfect beach for ideal long walks, taking a camel safari ride, beach fishing and 4WD access at the southern end. The beach is patrolled during the School Holidays. This is a great spot for surfers with ideal surfing beaches along the Port Macquarie coast. It is a luxury to just stroll across the road and enjoy this pristine beach. You're only a 5 min drive from Port Macquarie Golf Course with great quality golfing amenities. Port Macquarie is all about outdoor living, beach, hiking, bush tracks, wild flowers, mountain biking, biking, winery tours, many uncrowded beaches and bays waiting for you to discover them. OTHER No school groups, under 21 groups, bucks or hens parties, large loud adult groups, events. Quite time from 10pm-7am, please keep our neighbours happy. Guests that do not adhere to the house rules will have their full bond forfeited. CANCELLATIONS AND COVID Standard Airbnb cancellation policies apply to your booking. Once the free cancellation period has elapsed we will apply more flexible rules if your cancellation is related government enforced COVID lockdowns and travel restrictions: 1. Change your booking free of charge to a future date. This is the preferred option. If the new dates are more expensive, you pay the difference between old and new rates OR 2. Cancel your booking whereby we apply more lenient cancellation rules. We generally charge 25% (instead of the typical 50%-100% loss of monies within 30-7 days prior to arrival) with a minimum of $200 to cover our costs plus any commissions that Airbnb still charges us.
