The house offers a private, scenic, unique getaway 12 mins from cute and quirky Joshua Tree town and 15 mins from the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. The space The property sits on 5 acres of land where you can experience infinity views of the desert and the mountains. At night you can gaze up at a million twinkling stars that feel about an arms-length away from your outdoor relaxation space with both south and east facing patios, outdoor dining area and hammock. Stargaze from lounge area, and enjoy the gas grill. This is a magical property. It offers the perfect escape from the big city and the kind of serenity that can only be found in the desert. There is no light pollution, hso this is the perfect place to watch Meteor Showers or any celestial event! The true vintage design create an exciting contrast to serene views from the patios outside. There are original art in every room, and every detail has been thoughtfully considered. Fully equipped and fully self-contained, the house has WiFi, TV with Netflix and Hulu, A/C, working wood burner and heating. This unique and comfortable home is located in a peaceful area with views and expanse rare even in Joshua Tree, yet only 12 minutes from the entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. The home is situated in a quiet area with no light pollution. We respect the environment. We have a triple osmosis filter, so you can safely drink the tap water. No need to bring water in single use plastic bottles. I provide multi use water bottles and glass bottles with fresh water in the fridge to minimise single use plastic waste. I provide shampoo and conditioner. Sheets and bedding are air dried. Guest access You have access to the everything the main house has to offer: Open plan kitchen, dining area, lounge, study, bathroom, bedroom, back patio, large outdoor deck with dining table, ample parking, and generous amenities. Feel free to use the grill. Gas provided. Other things to note NO PARTIES aside from small private birthday, anniversary or honeymoon celebrations. This must be communicated in advance. This is a serene property, and I like to keep it that way. The house has a self contained studio on the opposite side with it's own outdoor areas, parking, amenities and entrance in the back. This is rented separately, and laid out and insulated so that the guests will not notice each other. Nothing is shared. You can rent both spaces. Contact me if you are interested in this. The house will in such cases sleep 4. AMPLE PARKING on the property. Any car drives fine out here. The last 2 mile stretch is on maintained dirt roads. This has never been a problem for any of my guests. Drive normally, and do not slow down too much on the dirt roads EV charger is the 5 prong Tesla Charger. If you need another plug-in, you need to bring an adapter. Each overnight charge cost $14. For photo shoots / movies and anything else similar contact me first for permission, or you will be turned away. No exceptions. Washing machine is for people who stay 4 nights or more. Check in is at 3pm or by appointment only. I recommend arriving before sunset. An extra queen size comfortable blow up bed can be added to accommodate an additional person. Please recycle!
