The Carriage House in Historic Fitzwilliam

Welcome to the Carriage House! Former site of the popular Hannah Davis House Bed and Breakfast, this gorgeous space is ready for your visit! Beautiful wood beams throughout, a cozy loft bedroom, and a completely separate entrance for privacy. Short rides to Rhododendron State Park, Mount Monadnock, Gap Mountain, the Cheshire Rail Trail, Laurel Lake, and many more outdoor activities year round. Walking distance to the town common in a town where little has changed and history is preserved. The space The Carriage House is a beautiful place to unwind. You will be surrounded by rustic log beams, gorgeous barn board carriage house doors, and a super cozy loft bedroom looking down over the beautiful fireplace. For safety and ambience, the fireplace contains an electric insert operated by remote. Please let us know if you are celebrating a special occasion, we love to add some extra touches for these special visits! Dependent on my availability, I can offer chocolate covered strawberries, meat and cheese displays, champagne, wine, or sparkling cider in a rustic tray complete with glasses and ice bucket. All special requests considered within reason and with advanced notice! There is a small fee in addition to the cost of the extra items. Tray and glasses are included with wine or champagne requests. The swans and rose petals in the listing photos are at no extra charge. Also let us know if you'd like a special message on the welcome chalkboard to surprise someone with! The bedroom features a brand new luxury full sized plush mattress with an adjustable frame that you won't want to get out of! You are welcome to use the Firestick and take advantage of our Netflix account, access the local cable, or enjoy some retro nostalgia with our mini Super Nintendo game system preloaded with all the games you remember and love! In the food prep area, we have set you up with a Keurig, toaster oven, microwave, mini-fridge, dishes and silverware if you prefer to dine in. Drinking glasses and wine glasses are also provided. Coffee, hot chocolate, water and snacks are complimentary. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions either before or during your stay! Guest access As you pull in, you may park directly in front of the large white doors. The entrance is just to the left of those doors, and is labeled The Carriage House. There is a lockbox if you prefer self check in, but we are happy to help if you have any trouble at all!
