The house is set within a very quiet subdivision but has more than 8 acres of land surrounding it, partially fenced with a gated driveway. (See Photos) (Please note this listing is for Bedroom #2). The home is definitely one of a kind. Lots of surrounding nature, Each room features scenic views of the grounds and has a mini fridge and microwave of its own. Other than the chiming of a grandfather clock, the peace and quiet is seldomly disturbed. There is an indoor/outdoor cat that is friendly that roams the grounds. Guest can access all common living areas. Indoor/outdoor areas including the park, outdoor bonfire pit , Only the mother-in-law suite is private. That is where I stay . Guests are welcome and encouraged to make full use of the grounds, which includes several patios, firepits, cemented large swing set, seasonal pool, a completely fenced area to allow dogs to run off-leash (old un-used tennis court). Guests may also cook meals in the kitchen, socialize in the living room with TV, Games, play piano (during daytime hours), etc. The driveway is gated with video survelliance- guest code provided after check-in) I am available and onsite. The house itself is rich in history since it was originally built in 1949. The previous owner helped shape Carrollton and owned where the new symphony hall is located as well as the adjacent championship golf course. There are many great dining experiences, and can make recommendations based off guests personal preferences. There is more than plenty of free parking available. The neighborhood is very friendly and safe! There are not any city bus lines but Taxi’s and uber and Lyft are very fast to respond and courteous. Guests are generally limited to a maximum of 3-4 per room on overnight/ weekend stays. Only 1-2 for weekly or long term stays. .
