We are 15 mins away from the ‘Haliburton Forest’ and Wild Life Reserve, which offers Tree top trekking, Hiking, Mountain Bike trails and rentals, fishing, snowmobile trails and rentals, dog sledding, a restaurant and the *Wolf Center (a must see) We also have our own walking trails right across the street which is perfect for cross country skiing or snow shoeing in the winter. Haliburton Highlands is home to many local artists with Fleming College a mere 45 mins away. Once there, they offer a free art walk through the “Sculpted Forest” or a week long art course (to be booked in advance) making this the perfect Nature lovers paradise, artists retreat or girls get away.
