Welcome to the Blue Mountains and beautiful Georgian Bay! Experience the beauty and adventure of this area in our clean, cozy and private Confederation Log Home, built in 2004. It is in a perfect location to enjoy the Bay, trails, golf and sandy beaches. This cabin is a minimum 4 week rental as per local by-law. The space This is our home away from home. It is not "a rental" and therefore it is cozy and homey...our guests simply LOVE their extended stays! Featuring authentic native Canadian art, our 2-story log home has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and is open concept with 1600 sq. ft. of living space. The perfect place to cuddle up and watch a movie by the fire. Log construction throughout including 3 bedrooms - a huge bedroom with king bed and lots of closet space upstairs, along with a second upper bedroom with Queen bed and desk. The main floor bedroom has a sturdy bunk with twin XL over Queen. Upstairs between the two bedrooms, there is a full bathroom with 2 sinks, toilet and a tub/shower. On the main floor by the third bedroom, there is a 3 piece bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. Main floor laundry is also a plus! Great beaches are minutes away. Our home directly backs onto the Georgian Trail with easy trail access to Blue Mountain village and the quaint town of Thornbury. Many trees between the trail and the yard, and a curved driveway offer complete privacy from the trail and road. Our fire pit in the backyard is perfect for evening family storytelling and s'mores ! Guest access Garage is private and there is a private closet in the home.
