montly rental minimum, local laundry service nearby (2 min) The Ocotillo Cabin features a cozy & modest one bed and one bath and is located just outside of the West Entrance of Joshua Tree National Park. We're in the heart of downtown Joshua Tree Village and are just a quick walk to the local shops, JT Saloon & other dining spots and shops! This dwelling features a modern desert vibe promoting guest relaxation and restoration with the convenience of nearby amenities! The space The Ocotillo is a brand new & cozy cabin boasting high ceilings with an energetic, unique design style (constructed in 2020). Both cabins are situated on a multi-family property but are completely separate and private. The only ‘shared’ space is the parking location at the front. The cabin kitchen is stocked with all the essentials and a few extras for you to enjoy as well. With tons of natural light and an open floor plan, this space is perfect for couples or small groups. The bathroom features a spa-like wood shower and floating vanity design. In addition to the indoor lounge space, you can also relax under the covered outdoor patio or sit fireside by night. We have a wood fire pit for you to enjoy, as well as lighters but BRING YOUR OWN WOOD! Enjoy the cabin by itself, or bring along a small group and reserve both cabins for your trip! The patio spaces are adjacent to each other but they are separated by a full height fence for privacy at each. Each cabin has their own and separate amenities for each to use. Few general house rules: - check in: 3pm or after - check out: 11am or earlier - NO PETS! we love our furbabes as much as you but we cannot make any exceptions - parking is limited, 1 space is allowed per cabin, at the front of the property. no parking is allowed in the driveway - please be mindful of your noise as this is a cozy neighborhood and the other cabin is relatively close =) - no smoking inside the cabins, outside is welcome - arrival and check in instructions will be given a 24 hours prior to your check in date We are super close to all of the downtown shops and cafes at Joshua Tree Village- basically less than a 5 minute walk. There are several local shops and cafes just a few blocks up! We often walk there but feel free to drive- there is parking on sight although it can get a bit ugly! If you’re in the area before check in time, feel free to park at the property and walk to the shops while your cabin is done being prepared. **Best tip we can give is to plan to eat early! Lines for food and wait times get crazy on weekends, so plan ahead to avoid getting hangry =) **NOTE: Although these are brand new homes, we still have septic in Joshua Tree so PLEASE do not flush anything other than tissue in the toilets and be mindful of what you dispose of in the sinks.
