The space Our House by Butternut Brook is a lovely and warm restored 1792 farmhouse vacation rental in the historic, picturesque New England Village of Walpole NH. Our house by Butternut Brook is less than a mile from the village where you can experience fabulous dining and a world famous chocolate shop. There is a high quality grocer and butcher shop in the village. There are numerous dining choices in Walpole. Our House by Butternut Brook sleeps 8 people in 4 private bedrooms, 2 with private master baths and 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom/shower. Accommodates up to 10 people with aero bed or futon mattress but must have prior authorization. The first floor consists of a mudroom entrance into a well stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook. There is a lovely 3 season porch with fabulous views of the yard and cornfield, green hillside off the kitchen. The kitchen is open to the den and dining room. Past the den and dining area there are 2 more living room areas with comfortable furnishings which is great for quiet privacy or gatherings. A half bathroom and laundry room with washer and dryer are also on the first floor. There is a queen bedroom with master bath with tub/shower on the 1st floor. Proceed up the stairs to where there are 3 bedrooms. The master suite has a king sized bed and an en suite bathroom with a large walk in shower. There is a small room off the master suite with a crib. The other 2 bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower. One bedroom offers 2 twin beds and the other has a double bed. Each bedroom has luxury linens and pastoral views. There is great outdoor space. One side of the house has an open large green yard. Off the driveway is a patio with table, seating and grilling for your pleasure. You can hear Butternut Brook from the patio. There are 2 designated parking spaces. Additional parking is available, please let us know if needed. Please park in the first 2 designated parking spaces on the left. Other parking spaces available on property please inquire. There are 2 long term tenants in the carriage house that also park in the driveway. One pet (dog or cat only) is allowed. Must be housebroken and not left in house without anybody there. Always on leash while outside.
