The space Located on a beautiful, leafy residential street in the heart of Bar Harbor Village - surrounded by B and B's, but you get the comfort and privacy of an entire home! "Mistress Row" is a street of finely designed Shingle Style homes so-named becuase several of the homes were purportedly built by visiting tycoons for their mistresses for when they had their yachts in port. Now a sought after family neighborhood, this is a lovely tree-lined, one-way, quiet street with well-maintained homes dating over a century. Baileard is from 1904 and has been recently renovated, preserving the original details of the home (clawfoot tubs, fireplaces, woodwork), but with lots of modern comforts! The home is distributed over three floors. There are four bedrooms on the second floor. The primary bedroom is ensuite while the other three bedrooms share a hall bath (or may use one of the other two bathrooms in the home). The third floor features a bedroom and a full bathroom, plus a laundry area. The three baths on the second/third floors feature original clawfoot tubs combined with showers. On the first floor, there is a 3/4 bath (walk-in shower), and a family room with a sleeper sofa. There is a traditional keyed lock (no digital lock or lockbox).
