The original section of the house (the living room is a later addition) was constructed in the 1920s using trolley car steel I-beams. The previous owner added the Douglas fir beadboard in between the beams to highlight this unique feature. The upstairs bedroom suite is so relaxing and offers a plush king-sized bed and forever views of the lake from the balcony. The house is located on Lake Iroquois, a 229-acre reservoir perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, fishing, swimming, and boating in the summer and ice fishing, snowshoeing, and x-country skiing in the winter. It's an easy drive to the small quaint towns of Hinesburg and Richmond where you can enjoy great food, community events, and purchase supplies.
