You'll be greeted at the private gate with a walkway overshadowed by palm and fig trees as you come up to the entrance nestled on a quiet cul de sac in our neighborhood on a hill. First you'll see the completely new porch and landscaping providing a little shade from the Redding heat. Inside it's an open layout incorporating the living area, kitchen and dining space to provide flexibility and plenty of space for whomever comes. The bathroom is on the front end while the two bedrooms sit on the far side. Open up the french doors of the queen bedroom to connect it even more. We've tried to make the optimal layout to accommodate groups small or large. Anyone with a group where you might have to be split in two separate stays in a standard hotel or efficiency can more comfortably stay together here. There's a queen room set up to be a cozy space for one or a couple also has optional floor mattress for a child or to maximize sleeping space. It's a darling room and the master space for and individual or couple staying alone or with a few children. The second, larger bedroom is made to accommodate groups or large families as it adds 4 twin beds in an efficient manner and still feels comfortable no matter how many adults or kids are sharing the room. If you need to expand further, there is a sofa bed with a full size mattress in the living area and also a bonus single mattress that can slide out under the queen bed in the first bedroom. We can also provide a pack and play crib upon request. Equipped with electric tea kettle, coffee maker, blender, microwave, Keurig, and basic set of pots, pans, dishes, and utensils in kitchen along with gas stove and full sized fridge. High chair available upon request. Fun outdoor patio is shaded most of the day and provides extra space to relax, sit, or play when it's not too hot. The door has a keycode lock so you'll have an entrance code that will last the duration of your stay with no keys to collect or return. Guest access The guest house is in a residential neighborhood and has it's own entrance and gated area. Other things to note Guests have their private indoor and outdoor area with fencing isolating the private space. The cottage is in behind a larger house and in an neighborhood with others living nearby so you might hear familes (with children) -- during reasonable hours :-). It is usually a very quiet area.
