In winter, the lake house also offers close proximity to ski resorts (Catamount, Mohawk, Windham, Butternut), terrain parks and many cultural events (Bard Summerscape, Tanglewood, Omega). Land Conservancy hiking trails or the Appalachian trails are another draw year-round. Stissing Mountain is just a short walk away along with the trails of Thompson Pond and Stissing Lake.
