Historic Gorge River view home, couples getaway

Columbia River Gorge cliff views - restored historic home, 1/2 acre, right off Historic Hwy 30 and I-84 for easy in/out road trips, hiking, water sports, biking. Walk to Rock Creek beach (family hang out, SUP/windsurf/kite launch,) waterfront trail, Twin Tunnels Trail, Mosier overlook, Hwy 30 rides, Mosier pubs & store. Upstairs: huge queen BR + loft living room/kitchenette & high quality full size futon. Downstairs river view in 2nd queen BR, living room, kitchen, decks. 5 min. to Hood River. The space Mosier is a cozy small town - has amazing Columbia River views - and in our front yard view is the Coyote Wall Syncline. We have joyous sun when others rain- but we're not far enough east to be deserty. Great for dog lovers. Good for families with kids over age 10 that are OK going up and down stairs and are OK around knick knacks - it's not set up as a child proof home but there's lots to do right here or in bike/walking distance. It's a quiet getaway in a mellow neighborhood - you feel like you're away from it all, but you are right outside Mosier downtown. It's an easy walk, hike, bike, SUP or drive to anything you want to do. We're right off I-84 and Historic Columbia River Highway 30 - it's 6 minutes via car to Hood River or run/bike ride 6 miles each way on the Twin Tunnels trail (paved - no cars - amazing views!) Mosier has its own Rock Creek waterfront beach launch for windsurfing, SUP and kiting. There are tons of trails for walks and mountain biking right here. Downtown Mosier is cozy with two pubs and a few shops and places to hang out or explore. For nightlife or more action, head to Hood River, 5 miles west and come home to Mosier. We are in a 1400 SF restored historic home that has stood watch over the magical Mosier countryside since 1907. Guest access The house is ready with dishes, pots, pans, a blender and kitchen basics. Fridge and full kitchen downstairs; mini fridge, microwave and Keurig upstairs in the loft for upstairs guests. Outdoor lawn furniture and BBQ; two small decks for enjoying the view. Let me know if you want me to set up a TV with Netflix. Other things to note Bring your hiking shoes, bike, SUP, windsurfing gear, dog, kites, wine and favorite books! Or just relax at home.
