River House on the River

2 Bedroom, 1 Bath on the River and Sleeps up to 4 People The space Completely remodeled in 2017, this two bedroom, one bath cabin is on the Gunnison River. The cabin is on 2.5 acres of riverfront property and across a footbridge that will take you to the Water Park (my balance isn't great and with no handrails, I do not use it). The Dos Rios Grill and Golf Course (open to the public) is a lovely .5 mile walk. A great spot for kayaking, trout fishing spot, and an excellent base camp for exploring the Gunnison valley. Located just miles from Hartman Rocks Rec area, Blue Mesa Reservoir, 2 miles from downtown Gunnison, Colorado, 1/2 mile from Dos Rios Golf Course and 30 miles from Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte. Enjoy skiing, rafting, fly fishing, and biking right out your front door! We are in the flight path, but it's Gunnison airport, not DIA. I think the planes are cool to watch when they do fly over. This property is shared with The Aspen House. All hammocks, firepits, and picnic tables are there for the two homes to share. There is a lot of room, so play nice and enjoy this park-like atmosphere! Guest access There is a parking area between Aspen and River Houses that services both properties. There are two trash cans available for both properties. Door Access Code: last 4 digits of the phone number you provided while booking You access the house with the 4 digit access code then hit the checkmark on the lower-left corner. To activate the keypad, place your hand in front of the black pad by the handle. To LOCK the door simply touch YALE Check-in is 4pm mountain time. If you come early your access may not work. You can use your code from 4pm of your arrival date until 10 am on your departure date A bridge that spans a fork in the Gunnison River is located in part on the property that has the address of 38064 US Highway 50, Gunnison, CO 81230 (the “Bridge”). Use of the Bridge is expressly prohibited under the lease. Any use of the Bridge without a separate written permission, not granted in this notification or our Terms & Conditions, is trespassing and prohibited. Use of the Bridge is dangerous and permission to use the Bridge will only be provided upon receipt of a separate waiver and release of liability.
