Guest suite in Dover

A great in-town location with a country feel. Home is nestled on a full acre bordered by a wrap around stream and protected wetland. Garden Side Suite is a private in-law apartment on the lower level. Apartment's French doors open onto a dedicated patio on the edge of the meadow. Bird feeders facilitate active wildlife. This is the summer home for my snowbird parents. It is comfortably furnished, and most of their personal items are in their locked study, leaving ample room for your stay. The space Garden Side Suite is a delightful space that has a furnished kitchen, with standard sized stove and refrigerator. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, cutlery, pots & pans, etc for whatever cooking you choose to do. A toaster oven and a Keurig coffee maker will make your breakfast prep a breeze. The comfortable living area has 3 La-Z-Boy rocker/recliner chairs and a couch with full-size hide-a-bed. Along one wall is a 42" Samsung smart TV with roku and blu-ray player. These are connected to wifi high speed internet for your streaming pleasure. You may sign into your favorite apps on-screen, or cast your own electronic device to the TV. PANDEMIC CHANGES: During this time of Covid-19, we have suspended our typical home cooked breakfast. If you stay for 1 week or longer, owner will wash whatever sheets and towels that you put out each Saturday. The owner does deep cleaning and disinfecting between guests. You would be responsible for any in-suite cleaning you desire during your actual stay. Cleaning supplies available in apartment. New Hampshire currently has a state mask mandate in public or while interacting with anyone outside your own pod. After meeting you to let you into the apartment, the owner will conduct most interaction with you remotely via this Airbnb app. Guest access Fully private apartment on lower level of home. Apartment includes a private bedroom with queen bed and walk-in closet, a full bathroom, and a great room that has a full kitchen, dining and living room areas. This apartment space is not shared with the owner or other guests. During your stay I live on the floor directly above the Garden Side Suite. I am on the premises most of the time and will be readily accessible by the Airbnb app, or by cell phone or text. I will interact in person as needed to get you settled and to address issues, using masks and social distancing. Other things to note Accessibility: Entrance to the apartment is down a sloped paved sidewalk, the length of the house to the back. This is kept fully snow and ice-free during the winter. Interior: There is a 7 inch step to get in through the front door, but all other flooring is one level. Floors are hardwood or tile throughout, and throw rugs and be removed prior to a stay if this is requested. All doors are 36 inch width. Bathroom: Generous sized space with a molded tub/shower combo. There is a hand held shower head with hose that can has the choice of using freely or at 2 hanging heights. Stabilizing grab bars are mounted both beside the toilet and the shower. An optional shower bench can be added if it is requested on booking. Bedroom: The queen bed mattress height is 33 inches from the floor.
