Private Country Brenham Escape w/Pool

Escape to the Walking Star Farm - close to the conveniences of modern life (even Instacart delivers) but feels like a world away. You’ll feel your blood pressure drop when you cross the cattle guard and see the expansive sky and countryside. The large deck and separate screened in porch is perfect for outside meals, watching the stars or sunrise, or just enjoying the pool. This quiet retreat has all the amenities (even a Peloton!) you need to make your stay relaxing and refreshing. The space A true modern farmhouse recently remodeled and newly furnished with comfort in mind, this 4 bedroom house is perfect for families or friends looking for a quiet escape. The house has 3 bedrooms downstairs and one upstairs. All bathrooms are downstairs. There is a pool with hot tub and an automatic pool cover for convenience and safety. There is also a fully enclosed screened in porch with a big screen tv and dining area. On property is on 12 acres with about an acre of fenced yard, outside of the fence is a firepit perfect for smores or evenings by the fire. You'll be amazed at how private the entire property feels. Fully furnished with all the necessities and a kitchen that comes well equipped (spices, tools, etc). The house comes with a Nespresso Vertuo machine and coffee maker. There is also a Peloton and an ice maker that makes nugget ice!! Outside you’ll find a hot tub and pool and a trampoline. There is a fire pit available as well. The house is 10 mins from historic downtown Brenham, 10 minutes to Chappell Hill, 6 minutes to the Kenney Store and 20 minutes to Round Top. Guest access Guests can access the entire property except for the garage (but there’s nothing about that you’d want to access). Other things to note This is the country so you may hear or see coyotes, snakes, skunks, or a barn cat from time to time. Be aware there are bugs and while we do our best to keep them out of the house, they find their way in sometimes. Please note the house is on septic so do not flush anything but toilet paper. The automatic pool cover is controlled by a keypad but please do not touch the aluminum bar that is exposed when the pool is open. You must sign a waiver to use the pool and the trampoline. If you go in the field, please ensure you lock the gates at night - the yard has been visited by wild hogs before and you will be liable for damages if the gate is left unlocked.
