The house was built in 1910, and has some wonderful character. From the tile floors to the tile fireplace, it's very charming. Certain parts of the home do show their old age, so please exercise caution and be gentle. With that being said, we have central air, however due to the structure of old homes the upstairs where the bedrooms are can get hotter in the summer months and you may require a (provided) fan to be comfortable at night, even with the AC running. In the winter we want guests to adjust the thermostat to a temperature that keeps the comfortable, as I said- the house is old so it is drafty- keep this in mind when you're booking. While the house may seem big from the outside, the inside is very cozy. The indoor fireplace works and is available for guest use. The kitchen is newly renovated and stocked with all the necessities, including a dishwasher. The bathroom downstairs was recently remodeled and houses a tub but no shower. If you're in need of a shower you'll want to use the upstairs bathroom. There are three bedrooms upstairs, each with a queen size bed. The main bedroom has blackout blinds.
