You can breathe in the cool Tennessee air from the wraparound deck, listen to the quiet of the forest, and watch fireflies spark to life as night settles over the Smokies. Whether you're soaking in the private hot tub beneath the stars or unwinding by the crackling indoor fireplace, this cabin invites you to slow down and reconnect with mountain life. Sleeping arrangements The cabin accommodates up to eight guests across two bedrooms, a loft, and a living area. Each of the two king master suites features a gas log fireplace, jetted tub, and private bathroom with double vanities and a walk-in shower. The enclosed loft offers a queen bed, a full bath, and extra space for relaxation or games. A pull-out sofa bed in the living room provides additional sleeping space, ensuring everyone has a cozy place to rest. Living spaces Gather around the fireplace in the main living room or head upstairs to the game room for friendly competition. Enjoy the pool table, shuffleboard, arcade games, and sound system, or settle in with a movie on the 42-inch HDTV with Roku and DVD player. A dedicated workspace in a room with a door, Wi-Fi, and central heating and air conditioning make it easy to balance comfort and convenience. Families will find thoughtful touches like a children’s playroom, books and toys, and board games for cozy evenings indoors. Kitchen & dining The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need to prepare home-cooked meals, including an electric stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and cooking basics. Serve dinner at the dining table or bring breakfast out to the deck to enjoy mountain views and fresh forest air. Outdoor living Step outside to the wraparound deck, where mountain views stretch into the distance. Relax in the private hot tub after a day of exploring, gather around the fire pit for conversation beneath the open sky, or cook on the BBQ grill and dine outdoors on the patio. The open backyard offers space to sit and unwind in the quiet wooded surroundings. Amenities & family features Guests have access to a shared outdoor pool available seasonally from June to October, a gym, and free parking on the property. Families are welcomed with a crib, pack ’n play, high chair, children’s dinnerware, and reading materials. The cabin is pet-friendly, with a per pet per stay fee. Neighborhood Located just 5 miles from the Pigeon Forge Parkway and 9 miles from Dollywood, Smoky Mountain Splendor offers both privacy and convenience. Gatlinburg is 14 miles away, and the Metcalf Bottoms entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park is 10 miles from the cabin. Nearby Townsend offers local cafés, museums, horseback riding, and ziplining for outdoor adventure. Additional Information There is a wheelchair ramp from the parking area to the deck. There is a French Door from the back deck that can be opened to allow a wide access. If only one door is open, the opening is 33". The front door is 32" wide and the bedroom doorway is 30" wide. This cabin is not ADA compliant. There is still a little bump at the threshold. You will have access to the entire home except the space under the stairs which we use to store supplies like light bulbs, etc. There also will be a couple extra light bulbs under the kitchen sink. Extra batteries can be found in the drawer in the kitchen. The parking area has ample space for 3 large vehicles or 4 small vehicles. Seasonal outdoor pool is located about 14 minutes away down Wears Valley Road. "Smoky Mountain Splendor" can accommodate up to 8 people. However, we limit the number of adults to 6. We do make exceptions. There is a $20.00 plus tax fee per night for any adult in your group over 6 adults. A note about the preauthorization for the soft hold on your credit card for the security deposit. You will be required to put a credit card on file with our property management software. AirBnB does not give us your credit card information, so we will need this information. If you use a credit card, there will be a soft hold on your credit card. If you use a debit card, the amount will actually come out of your bank account and then be put back in when no damages or extra cleaning is needed. Your booking will not be confirmed until you put a credit card on file with our property management software for the soft hold security deposit. Please do this ASAP. The soft hold will go into effect the day prior to your stay and be released about 5 days after your departure if we find no additional cleaning or damages. Please note that emotional support animals are not covered by the ADA. The pet fee is a per pet per stay fee. AirBnB only charges for one pet. Please let us know how many pets you have so we can charge you accordingly. Guest access Smoky Mountain Splendor is accessed through a keyless entry system.
