The Retreat Cabin @ Heather Hill Cabins are located in Jasper, AR just 2 miles from Pruitt's landing on the Buffalo River. The cabins are nestled in the woods on 20 acres. Guests can enjoy tons of outdoor activities in the area from canoeing the beautiful Buffalo River, 1000 miles of hiking trails, the Little Grand Canyon, mystic caverns, waterfalls galore, cliff jumping in the Buffalo (if your crazy) and the historic Jasper. Located within an hour's drive is Branson, MO and Eureka Springs, AR. The space Welcome to the Retreat cabin, our larger cabin nestled in the forest. This 2 bedroom and a loft, 2 bath cabin is the perfect spot to relax after a full day of exploring the Arkansas Ozarks. This 2- story spacious cabin is perfect for larger gatherings. Please note that we are located on a gravel road a half mile off of Hwy 7. Once you arrive at Heather Hill Cabins, the driveway is gravel (9% grade). Gravel can be bumpy at times however 4 wheel drive is not necessary. * The large living room with a 16 ft ceiling is the perfect spot to gather with your family and friends, to play board games, video games (arcade game includes pacman, galaga, galaxian, dig dug and others) converse, or watch your favorite movies and tv shows on the Roku TV. Snuggle up to the gas fireplace in the winter months. For larger groups, there are 2 rollaway beds. For those needing to stay connected, this cabin does have high-speed WIFI. * The kitchen is fully equipped, featuring full-size appliances and all the cookware to make your favorite meals including a crockpot, blender, toaster, microwave, drip coffee maker, all the utensils and cookware you could possibly need, and much more. The dining table seats 8 and is off the kitchen. The kitchen peninsula seats 3. * The downstair bedroom features a comfy king size bed, with cotton linens for you to get a great night's sleep. Attached is the downstairs bathroom, accessible from the bedroom and kitchen. The bathroom has a handicap accessible walk-in shower. *The upstairs bedroom has a king size bed. * The upstairs loft includes a queen size bed and a full over full bunk bed. The loft area sleeps a total of 6. Off the loft is the second bathroom, which has a walk-in shower. * The outdoor space includes a covered front deck with a porch swing and patio table for 4. The covered back deck includes a porch swing, as well as a charcoal grill. Enjoy the fire ring for those evening campfires to make those family memories, roasting hotdogs and savory S'mores. Wildlife abounds on the property. This cabin has a large front and backyard, and includes a volleyball net and a horseshoe pit. *The cabin is secluded on 20 acres and has 3 other sister cabins within walking distance - " The Original" -sleeps 5, "The Hilltopper" - sleeps 8, and our newest "The Majestic" -sleeps 8. ***LOCATION We are just 2 miles from the Buffalo National River, 7 miles from historic downtown Jasper, and 20 minutes from Harrison. We are within an hour's drive from Branson and Eureka Springs for those wanting to explore some other areas. Our cabins are best known for their close proximity to the Buffalo National River for floating, the many scenic hiking trails in Newton County, waterfalls during the wetter months, and the Elk herd in the area - all within a short drive. Guest access Guests will have access to all that is pictured and described. All kitchen and bathroom supplies are available to guests, however please note that the supplies are enough to get you started on your trip. Other things to note * We are 2 miles from Pruitt's landing at the Buffalo National River and are 7 miles north of Jasper, Arkansas. and a 20 minute drive to Harrison. * No pets are allowed at this cabin. * Self check-in after 4 pm with key lockbox * Roku TV in living room and master bedroom (please bring your login information to enjoy netflix, hulu, amazon prime, and other Roku apps. * High speed internet * Charcoal barbeque grill
