Stunning year round Chalet-esque Cottage at Joyland Beach, right on the canal leading out to beautiful Lake Simcoe! You're just 15 minutes from central Orillia and all its convenient amenities. The space This cozy and warm cedar board & batten cottage has 2 generous bedrooms & a loft space with beds, fully furnished. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, utensils, microwave, and dishwasher. Theres also a large deck with a BBQ for your enjoyment. Entertainment Equipment: There is a large TV Screen with an Anniversary Entertainment System. This is retro gaming system with all the classic favourites like Mario, Street Fighter, and Donkey Kong. Perfect for keeping the kids busy in the evenings while you enjoy a glass of wine and the fire pit :) There is also high speed WIFI provided. Summer Activities: Very easy access to Lake Simcoe via your very own canal. You can use the kayaks or canoe available to quickly go from our private dock to Lake Simcoe. Otherwise you can bring your boat and keep it safely docked at the property. Please be advised the You also have access to the private park and beach at McRae Point Provincial Park. This Provincial Park is walking distance from our front yard! The beach is very clean and perfect for a day BBQ or some family fun. We also have a propane BBQ available for use and a fire pit. Winter Activities: There are plenty of trails in the area, along the coast of the waterfront. Our personal favourite is the McRea Point Provincial Park trail that you can access from the park entrance. You can also drive into Barrie to visit the Snow Valley Ski Resort for a day of skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing. If the lake is frozen over you can also go Ice Fishing! Please bring your own fishing rod and materials if you plan on doing this and please be safe!
