Antebellum Tuscaloosa Home 6 Blocks from Campus
Lovely antebellum home in the historic district of Tuscaloosa built in 1822 is approximately 8 blocks from Bryant Denny Stadium, 2 blocks from downtown Tuscaloosa and 6 blocks from "the Strip" Enjoy all the activities associated with UA without the hassle of traffic or parking. The space The house has 3 floors and a finished basement. All bedrooms are on upper levels. The third floor runs the length of the house and has three full sized beds. Much of the furniture is period. All appliances in the kitchen may be used. Large porches are great places to gather. The yard is completely fenced with parking in the back or on the street. No parties or events are allowed. Guest access The entire yard may be used as well as two balconies, and two deep porches. The basement is finished and has a treadmill for those who don't want to miss gym time while they are away from home. A 60inch flatscreen in the basement and a bar are popular places to watch sports. Other things to note So that you may fully enjoy your visit, please read over the house rules to make sure this is a property that will fulfill your needs and you can fully comply with the terms of the owner. No smoking No pets No lit candles in the house or anything incendiary. Only listed guests may stay overnight in the house. If you are renting the house to attend a function in Tuscaloosa ie: wedding, football game, graduation, do not invite groups of people outside of the guests staying at the house to celebrate. The listed guests are responsible for the property, it’s contents and anyone who enters the property while they are renting. Closets and chests are private and may not be used. Racks will be provided for hanging guests clothing. We want you to enjoy the house while keeping in mind that this is our home.
