Inside, you’ll find thoughtfully designed spaces across three levels and 1,400 efficient square feet: 1st floor: Private guest suite (QUEEN), home office (FULL futon + ottoman twin cot) 2nd floor: Open kitchen, dining, and living space (FULL sofa bed + ottoman twin cot) 3rd floor: Two bedrooms and shared bath (QUEEN; two TWINS) Enjoy the gourmet kitchen, four decks/porches, and outdoor hot tub—all with ocean views. 🛑 A Note on Guests & Visitors To keep everyone safe/insured: - Your reservation includes up to 6 total guests (you + 5 extra free) - 7-12 guests in our small cottage is TIGHT (see bedding details) so it incurs a per guest/per night additional fee - Airbnb requires all guests to be registered even for short visits - Unregistered guests are not covered by Airbnb and are grounds for immediate cancellation without refund 🛫 Protect Your Trip We strongly recommend travel insurance—through Airbnb or a third party. Our island home runs on tight, seasonal availability, and we can’t insure you by issuing refunds. Travel insurance keeps your dream vacation safe, just in case. Feel free to use the laundry facilities anytime. For safety, please limit the number of people on each deck to 6 at a time, and avoid sitting or leaning on railings. 🚗 Parking There’s plenty of space for your car with a gravel strip driveway running parallel to the street, just in front of the house. Parking is easy and convenient, so you can relax and focus on enjoying your stay. By booking, you agree: NO VISITORS/EVENTS - Please, no meals, gatherings, parties, events, receptions, visitors or other unregistered guests. We want you cozy and safe, and only registered guests are covered by Airbnb's insurance. NO AC or TV - Our cottage is designed to embrace natural cooling with sea breezes. While a window AC may be available, it's not fully air conditioned. Just open the windows and shades, and let the fresh air flow! We also don't have a TV, by design, to encourage connection and relaxation. FIRE SAFETY - Peaks has had many devastating fires because firefighting is different on an island. Our home is a cherished antique. For everyone's safety, smoking, vaping, candles, matches, grilling, campfires, or any open flame are strictly prohibited anywhere on or near the property. Any evidence of any of these means a $500 fine and immediate removal without refund. GROUPS - While the cottage can accommodate up to 12 guests, it's a cozy 1400 sq ft space split into 3 floors. Carefully review bedding details and ask questions before booking to make sure it’s a fit for your group. TRAVEL INSURANCE - Due to high fixed costs we can't insure your trip for you by providing refunds. Definitely purchase travel insurance in case anything comes up and you must cancel. NEIGHBORS - We’re a close-knit island community. Please respect neighbors, as our homes are very close together, and we all cherish our quiet island “town.” SAFETY - For your safety, please no more than 6 at a time on decks, and never lean or sit on railings. Please read planning guide before arrival. We’re happy to help if you have questions! CHANGES - Once booked, any changes to your length of stay or guest count must be approved in advance.
