Guest access All areas except for locked closets are available to guests. Other things to note There are so many things to do around Maggie Valley. Just about 15 minutes away from Smoky Mountain Retreat follows into the strip with plenty of shops to visit such as for ice cream, crafts, gems, food and souvenirs. Also Wheels Through Time a historical motorcycle museum. Following Maggie Valley also visit Cherokee where Harrah’s Casino is located, then explore into the Blue Ridge Parkway for breathtaking views. Downtown Waynesville that is also about 15 minutes away walk through and visit restaurants, shops & breweries. Asheville that is approximately 35 minutes explore Americas Largest Home, The Biltmore Mansion. Sierra Nevada Brewing Company and tour the production facility.
