Enjoy a slow morning spent sitting on our patio and take in the view with your morning coffee. Lay around in the hammocks or in the 4-person hot tub while stargazing. This house has been created to help you slow down, relax and and enjoying the moment. The inside offers a fully renovated and open floor plan. Reconnect with loved ones over a meal prepared in our fully stocked kitchen while also being able to hangout with everyone in the living room. This property is a 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom house. 2 of the bedrooms have a queen bed and one is perfect for the kiddos with a twin trundle bed. The property has been designed with peace and privacy in mind. • THE SPACE There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with comfortable sleeping arrangements for 6 people; a queen bed in two of the bedrooms and a trundle for the kiddos (or two adults that want to have their own twin bed). Each of the rooms has their own desk for work or creative endeavors. •THE OUTDOORS The large property comes equipped with outdoor amenities including an outdoor dining table set under a pergola with twinkle lights, a 4 person hot tub set under the stars, a mid-century cement fire pit and a hammock garden with 4 hammocks set to rest and relax. make sure all the outdoor lights are off for ultimate dark skies and incredible stargazing. For the safety of our guests we have a Ring doorbell and Nest security cameras on the front of the house. • DEPOSIT We do not charge a security deposit. We welcome you and your guests to come to the property without an added security deposit or any extra holds of funds. You will not have to worry about any additional charges for accidental damages! Guest access • You will be sent a number code for the keypad upon booking. Your code will be active ONLY during the time of your stay. Any questions or problems, feel free to contact me. Guests have access to the entire property during your stay. Driveway parking is available for multiple vehicles. Other things to note • Professionally managed by Hi-Desert Dwellings • CLEANING FEE As the top Professional Management Company in the area, we have always maintained exceptional cleaning standards and have been able to keep our rates low while still paying a living wage. 100% of your cleaning fee is paid to the cleaners (i.e. no profit to us) and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests. • A/C The Walpi Retreat is cooled by mini splits in each room for both the heat and air. This will help keep the house cool during warmer desert days and warmer during those chilly nights and also allow different people to have different climates in each bedroom. • WASHER / DRYER If you would like use the washer and dryer and are staying more then 4 nights, please let us know so we can have those ready for your arrival. • STAR GAZING For viewing of the night sky, it is best to keep all lighting to a minimum. This includes lighting inside the house that can bleed out the night sky. Moonless nights are of course the best. • WIFI There currently is good WiFi on the property. Cell service works great (Verizon is the best out here) and there hasn't been any issues with guests and having service. • GAMES We have provided a number of indoor games and activities for kids and adults alike. Be sure to keep all the pieces and parts together where they belong so everyone can continue to enjoy them. • FIRE We have a propane firepit for your use. Due to the location and a current fire ban there is a strict no OPEN (wood) fire policy. If it is discovered that you have started an outside fire, using fireworks or other open fire means your rental agreement will be terminated and you will be asked to leave. • OUTSIDE The raw desert land always tends to uncover rusty objects and glass around the yard, please be mindful and wear foot protection. This yard does tend to uncover lots of broken glass in the front and back yard. • WILD ANIMALS Be sure to keep an eye out for snakes and scorpions while walking through the desert landscape. They mostly want to leave us alone, but be mindful that you might be walking through their home. If you see a snake or scorpion calmly and quietly walk in the opposite direction. If you see a rattlesnake, please call management. We ask you kindly to not try to handle it yourself or to hurt the snake. We have a local snake wrangler that will relocate the snake without harm. • HOT TUB - legal Guest agrees to release, indemnify, hold harmless and forever discharge Host and Host's employees, agents, successors and assigns from any and all claims, liabilities or causes of action of any kind that guest, members of guest's household or guest's guests or invitees may have at any time against Host or Host's agents resulting from guest's use of the pool and spa. • GUESTS You are not permitted to have any guests on the property beyond those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us. That includes day guests and over night guests. • HOUSE AND PROPERTY Guest agrees to release, indemnify, hold harmless and forever discharge Host and Host's employees and Owner, agents, successors and assigns from any and all claims, liabilities or causes of action of any kind that guest, members of guest's household or guest's guests or invitees may have at any time against Host or Host's agents resulting from guest's use of the house and property.
