Welcome to your home away from home! Enjoy spacious living outside the big city, yet having easy access to all the Seattle city attractions & amenities. With your own private entrance and a shared massive yard, this guest suite on the lower level provides a large living area, a large bedroom, a private bathroom and a full kitchen stocked with all the appliances and dishes you could need. Parks, restaurants, grocery stores, ferries, public transport nearby make this an excellent location. The space We have strived to provide our guests with every amenity they could need for day to day living. A large yard to enjoy the fresh air. Kitchen stocked with all the utensils and basic spices, appliances including microwave, cooking range, oven, fridge, coffee maker, toaster, blender etc. Newly added amenities include an outdoor fire pit (you would need to purchase wood yourself), treadmill available for use in the garage upon request and a pack and play crib for those traveling with infants. Just a 4 min drive to the link rail station which can take you to downtown Seattle, Capitol Hill, university district and even the airport. Costco - both the store and gas station are located 5 mins from our house. Feel free to ask us for temporary use (few hours at a time) of our Costco card for discounted gas. If we are around during your stay you are welcome to leverage our membership. Bathroom has toiletries and bathing supplies. Extra blankets and bedsheets for the bedroom. Sofa can be converted into a bed for 2 additional people. You will have parking both on the driveway as well as street parking (if you have multiple cars). Fast Xfinity wireless internet, smart TV for streaming needs (no cable). Ironing board and iron. Your own private Washer and Dryer for your laundry needs. If by any chance you are missing something, just ask us (we live upstairs) and will most likely be able to provide it. This neighborhood is very safe with proximity to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Ballinger Lake and Urban Trail near our property are excellent for morning and evening walks. Downtown Seattle is an 18 mins drive. There is also a bus which goes there from right in front of our house but requires a transfer. Beautiful downtown Edmonds is a short drive away with lots of restaurants and activities. Guest access Guest suite is entirely yours. In fact, there is no way to access your unit from ours except by going outside. You have complete privacy. Yard is shared. Other things to note You shouldn’t have to spend time cleaning on your vacation. We have professional cleaners who come to clean. Guests are only expected to clean any dishes they may have used and our cleaners take care of everything else.
