Close to shopping and dining, 15 minutes to Notre Dame and 30 minutes from Lake Michigan beaches and resort communities. Owners live in main house on property with their very friendly dog, Poppy, 2 barn cats, and 5 free-range hens. This is a large studio apartment with private entrance, contactless/keyless entry, private off-street parking, full kitchen facilities, dining room table, sofa, reclining chair, bathroom/standup shower, TV, and WIFI. Guests are welcome to wander the property, especially in June when the wildflowers are in bloom, and may use the lower patio across from the studio's main door (prior notification appreciated). Semi-rural area. 10 minutes from either of the two South Bend I-80/90 exits. 15 minutes to downtown South Bend, Niles, or the Notre Dame campus. Close to antique stores, restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy, health care and automotive services. 20 minutes to the Lake Michigan wine trail and Southwest Michigan cycling routes. South Bend and Niles are primarily automobile communities. Public transportation is available in South Bend, but property is not on a public transportation route. Uber and Lyft are available.
